Its been a massive two weeks down Fremantle way with LIMELITE holding heats for its very first DJ Comp. The calibre of competitors has been nothing short of amazing and why wouldn't it be with 1st prize being a set at Stereosonic, Pioneer headphones, $500 cash and getting on the promo list for Vicious and Sony.

Heat 1 saw LCD, Pins & Needles, Misprint and Eliot M scream past the other talented competitors to land a final birth. Heat 2 found the talent even tougher to judge but Le Brun, Pearly Whites and Housewives proved to be the favourites on the night.

This Friday is the Into the Limelite DJ comp final with special guest and Triple J darling Anoraak of Valerie Collective fame jetting in from France to play his trade mark Nu Disco 80's influenced syth pop electro sound LIVE. When we say live he isn't just plugging in with a midi controller but doing the whole instrument thing with keyboard, drums, guitars and some cdj's hidden in the mix. With international chart topping tracks Nightdrive With You and Waiting For Your Call.  Anoraak will certainly deliver his catchy dreamy retro feel to what will be one hell of a night.


Doors at 9.30, comp starts at 10.30 with the cheeky little Frenchman slotting in the middle around midnight.
