Grant Smillie

31 August 2010
Another Friday done and dusted with a stellar act on show and sore feet complete with a lovely hangover to nurse come Saturday. Fast becoming a Limelite favourite, Mind Electric commenced proceedings banging out a delicious set of his favourite electro gems. He made sure the dancefloor was primed for the arrival of the man of the moment. Things have been hectic for Grant Smillie clubhopping around the globe and he crash landed into Limelite pushing his last compilation Neon Essentials 10. With his selection of bigroom house he had the place heaving well into the wee hours.

Two boats, party tunes supplied by our very own djs, big flash lunch, beer, wine and softdrink to your heart’s content.
Departing Barrack Street Jetty with the champagne flowing and some delicious beats for breakfast we head down the river to one of the Valley’s oldest wineries Sandalford. Here we get to sample the best drops on offer at the cellar door.
Back on the boat to tear up the dfloor we then head to Waters Edge Winery for a gourmet lunch. At Waters Edge we will soak up some Swan Valley sunshine whilst drowning in beers and wine.
After a day of drinking and delights we head back on the boat to Barrack Street Jetty. Drinks will be available over the cash bar from 3.15pm.

It’s been a while since the Limelite crew pulled a back to back!
Friday night saw Andy Murphy return to the decks at the bighouse for our Back to Uni Party. The place was awash with southside students partying it was the end of exams not the first week back! Mr Mashup himself delivered a bangin set of pure party favourites and had the dfloor shaking.
On Saturday we took to the road with the return of Limelite Mobile Disco. Holding the Three Monkey Bar hostage for the night Limelite showed the kids of Bunbury what we are all about. With Zelimir pushing big room house, the crazy Pearly Whites smashing out the bangers and Misprint’s deep driving bass the Reef was rocking. Throw an awesome set by Andy Murphy into the mix and we had the perfect launch party.
A concoction of panadol and redbull goes down a treat for the long drive home! Watch this space Bunbury ... we will be back.
